Introduction to Herbert Bayer’s Work
Join Andrew Travers, Penner Manager of Educational Programs, for an introduction to the work of artist and designer Herbert Bayer. This talk will cover Bayer paintings, drawings, photographs and multi-disciplinary work on view in the Bayer Center spanning the 1920s to the 1980s and following Bayer’s creative progression from his years at the Bauhaus School and in Europe to the U.S. and his decades in Aspen. Offered select Wednesdays this summer from 3-3:45 pm.
Art + Aperitif – Happy Hour Tour

Join landscape architect Ann Mullins, on a tour of the earthworks and land art of Herbert Bayer on the Bauhaus-inspired, Bayer-designed Aspen Institute Campus.
