Exhibition Tour

Free tours offer an in-depth view of the evolution of key motifs in Bayer’s vast output of paintings, drawings, collages and photographs. See works on loan from the Denver Art Museum, Santa Barbara Museum of Art, and the George Eastman Museum in Rochester. Tours are offered Tuesdays and Thursdays, 12:30-1:30pm, and Saturdays, 3-4pm.

“Earthworks and Land Art of Herbert Bayer”

Landscape architect Ann Mullins’s hour-long Aspen Meadows tour examines Herbert Bayer’s “total environment” through his campus architecture, sculptures, and earthworks. Tours occur twice monthly through September, beginning Wednesday, May 27, at 11 a.m. Participants should meet outside the Doerr-Hosier Center.
